Key West Today: Turtle Kraals

Turtle Kraals is a seafood restaurant and bar along the Key West Bight. Interesting decor and apparently a favorite of the locals. Food is reported to be good. A good place along the docks to have a drink.

Key West Today: Jack Flats

Jack Flats is across the street from Margaritaville in the 500 block of Duval. A favorite with tourist and locals, it offers good food, friendly service, and enough big screen TV's to find your home team playing, no matter where you are from. We have eaten there every trip to Key West and probably keep it on the must eat there list the next time. You can't go wrong with a burger, pot roast, fish and chips, local fish bites, or anything else we have had. Try a Key West Sunset Ale. Not bad.

If you have limited time, buy a tee shirt at Margaritaville and then cross the street to eat at Jack Flats (assuming that you have had a cheeseburger and margarita at least one time in Jimmy's place.)
